About This Spot
Stepping into Premium Sweets, tucked away on the second floor above Rob Super Market near Gulshan 2 circle, feels like entering a gentle pause in the daily rhythm of Dhaka. This is a place where time slows just enough to savor familiar flavors presented with thoughtful care and a quiet hospitality. The space offers a subtle mix of warmth and simplicity—a comfortable nook where the familiar scents of traditional spices mingle with the inviting sweetness carried on the breeze.
The mood here leans toward casual yet attentive—a welcoming retreat for those seeking both comforting meals and the nostalgic joys of Bengali sweets. Whether you arrive for a late-night plate of khichuri or a leisurely breakfast, there’s a sense of ease in the air, accompanied by the soft hum of conversation and the quiet clinking of cups. The pace encourages diners to relax, linger, and share moments over richly layered experiences.
Food at Premium Sweets isn’t just nourishment; it’s a delicate dance of textures and flavors that honor local tradition while keeping a lively curiosity alive. The essence of their kitchen is found in dishes like aromatic, well-balanced khichuri paired with tender, spiced meats, or the delicate sweetness of their confections—from soft sandesh and halwas to carefully layered cakes. These offerings invite you to explore familiar tastes with a fresh perspective, a reminder of home softened by thoughtful presentation.
One of the quietly special aspects here is the mix of savory and sweet, where a robust, spiced beef kalabhuna can share the menu with a refined dessert platter. Every bite carries a comforting intimacy, a nod to generations of culinary heritage, yet presented with a refined touch that reflects the staff’s attentive care. The warm, approachable service complements this beautifully—attentive without intrusion, it enhances the experience with genuine kindness.
Though parking might occasionally feel like part of the adventure, the modest bustle adds to the location’s charm—this is a local spot where community flavors and small pleasures come together comfortably. Whether you’re dropping in for a late-night snack, a casual lunch, or a special celebratory treat, Premium Sweets stands as a quietly inviting corner in Dhaka’s vibrant food landscape, a place where meals come with a side of familiarity and a sense of shared delight.

Premium Sweets offers what I’d say is the best version of Bengali Khichuri you’ll find anywhere. Their Khichuri is rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced in flavor—comforting yet elevated, capturing the essence of this classic Bengali dish. Paired with their Alu Gosht, which is tender and infused with spices, or the deeply flavorful Beef Kalabhuna, it’s a match made in heaven. These dishes make for an unforgettable meal that’s both hearty and authentic. Kulfi is another best choice While the Doibora isn’t my personal favorite and doesn’t quite hit the mark for me, that doesn’t take away from my love for Premium Sweets’ Khichuri. For anyone looking to indulge in high-quality Bengali comfort food, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

If you want to have some yummy Khichuri (hotchpotch) late at night, this is the place. Presentation is unique, taste and quantity are also good. One order should serve 2 persons easily unless you are a heavy eater. Price wise bit upscale and I think it deserves that. Besides some lunch/dinner menu, we will get also a number of sweets here. Parking available but hard to get a space. They have smoking zone too.

In a normal day can't find any parking there . On Friday we went for breakfast and parking was empty . Food quantity was fine for us . It was package deal . Our server was extremely welcoming and cordial .

Best underrated place for a deshi style breakfast. Tried their latest addition- bot bhuna. Super yummy. Egg omelette was as usual super fluffy and flavorful. And that kalija shingara is the real winner. Any shingara lover who wants lots of kalija, this is the place for you. #Breakfast #Shingara #Samosa #DesiBreafast
